  • Snorkeling
  • Jet ski
  • Banana ride
  • Glass bottom boat ride
  • Scuba diving

Scuba diving is a must for exploring the hidden gems and beauty inside the sea. The coastline is beautiful and water is shallow and crystal clear. We can walk till very far and enjoy swimming also.

For Snorkelling, they will take us little far in the boat and then we have to get into the sea along with the instructor. We stay at the surface, see through a clear mask.

2 types of masks are available for Snorkelling :

  1. Full Mask:- This allows us to breathe normally from Nose.
  2. Half Mask:- This for breathing breathe from the mouth.

Glass Bottom Boat Ride is a good option for small kids as they can see the underwater world without going inside, even adults and old age people can also enjoy the corals and fishes.

Shopping & Eating Out:- There are some small shops from which we can buy Maggi, mango etc. to satisfy our taste buds and drink coconut water. It is an ideal picnic spot for families as they bring their mats and enjoy the views, water, and other sports activities for which rates are reasonable here compared to other Islands.

We can buy seashell items, coral necklace, and decorative items.

*All the water sports activities happen from the morning to afternoon until 2 p.m.

*Small kids can do all the activities except Scuba dive and Banana boat ride as the minimum age for it is 10 years.

*Swimming skills are not required for any of these activities.

*One Instructor will be with you in all activities.

*Don’t go very far on your own to explore the sea and its corals due to safety concerns.

When the sun sets its orangish rays will convert the sea shore and water in orange and purplish color and the view will make you speechless.

Kids really enjoyed playing in the white sand there. There were some small shops wherefrom we bought tea and bhajia and enjoyed the view while having the snacks.

Sitapur Beach:- This beach is famous for sunrise and as Andaman is in the east sun rises at 5 a.m.

So if you want to enjoy the sunrise and want to listen to the music of sea waves, you have to get up at 4 a.m and reach here. There is one tea stall where you can have your morning tea and biscuits. We reached the beach by 5 a.m and were little anxious all the way that whether we will be able to watch the sunrise or not. But we were lucky as we arrived at the beach, there were still few minutes left for sunrise. We drank our tea and then headed towards the shore. Some tourists like us who were nature lovers and wanted to capture and enjoy the beauty of nature were setting their cameras at a right angle. We walked, jog along the coastline and did some yoga and enjoyed the peaceful, serene view of sunrise. It seemed like waves were playing music and welcoming the sun on its arrival…..After spending Around 2 hrs we returned in our taxi.

Howrah Bridge @Laxmanpur beach 2:-

Howrah bridge is natural rock formation bridge at Laxmanpur beach 2. This is a nice place as you can see many sea creatures camouflage in sand colors swimming and walking openly. Best time to visit this place is before 4 as you have to walk on dead corals which are slippery. On the way, we watched crab, Shankh, fishes, sea cucumber. You can also hire a guide also to tell you each thing in detail. We explored it our self.
